About Us
How We Formed
Seeing the movement toward a more holistic approach to health and wellness, a small group of practitioners decided to form a not-for-profit Texas 501c3 organization in 2001 called the Dallas Holistic Chamber of Commerce to serve the North Texas area.
Our Focus
As with a traditional Chamber of Commerce, our focus is business development and promotion through education, networking and providing a strong community of like-minded professionals. The strength of our organization is in our membership. Involvement by our members not only grows business, it creates a stronger voice that reaches deeper into the community.
Who We Are
Our members celebrate and support a holistic approach. This means that they consider the physical, emotional, social and spiritual well-being of their client. We welcome business professionals, services and products that support this holistic way of life as well as businesses that support them. Some of our members include licensed professionals such as functional medicine doctors, osteopaths, chiropractors, acupuncturists, dentists, physical therapists, and psychologists. Service providers such as massage therapists, lifestyle coaches, reflexologists, and businesses providing products for planet friendly cleaning and nutritional support. This list is by no means exhaustive! We also welcome businesses that support businesses such as insurance providers, web developers, virtual platform support, realtors, lenders, financial services and anyone from the community who are curious and want to learn more about holistic living to come to a meeting and/or peruse our member directory.
